Charleston is such a FUN place to live!!

So....I have not only recently entered the blogging world but I am also a mystery shopper. The bank where I work is slow to put it mildly. So I have done some food shops (pizza, subs, etc.) but yesterday I did a new home buyer shop where I had to act like I was interested in buying a house. I think it is really kinda fun and the pay is halfway decent.

Saturday was really fun for me too. I had to tutor at the library in the morning and then I headed downtown. Jimmy was working so I called a couple of my girlfriends but they already had plans. So I went to Bruegger's Bagels (they are trying the southern market but I actually worked at one in MN during college) to do a mystery shop (and I drank some coffee !!) and then went to a College of Charleston volleyball game. They were playing Furman. They won in three games but it really was a fun game. The starters throw mini vballs to the crowd when they are announced and I caught one so I gave it to Jimmy when I saw him later.

After the game I headed to the Market to do a little shopping. I picked up some postcards to send to my mom, dad, and sisters and then found the gorgeous pearl bracelet and necklace. I need more pearls like I need a hole in the head (as Dad would say), but they are really cute.

The weather this weekend was BEAUTIFUL. low 70s during the day and 50 or so overnight.

Then I met up with Jimmy and we hung out and watched a movie I think. Lots of fun. :-)

hmm another try

So, I dont know why the pictures are so strangely small, but I am going to just send a picture I saved off the internet just to see if it is the settings on the pictures. No one so far has voted on my title for my blog. I really need some good ideas. :-)

Well this pic looks a lot better so i think it was just the formatting on the others.

SO....what have I been doing for the past 4 years!!!

After a 3 semesters at Northland Baptist Bible College and the rest at Bob Jones University, I spent the past 4 years at Northside Christian School teaching high school math in the 8th thru 12th grades. I have tremendously enjoyed coaching volleyball as well.

Currently, I am exploring the professional business side of my math ed. degree. I work at a local community bank as a tell for now. Jimmy and I have been dating since the end of April and I LOVE him dearly. :-)I spend my days at the bank, my evenings either tutoring or playing volleyball, and the rest of my time with Jimmy or else catching a few zzzzz's before doing it all again.

BLOG numbero UNO!!

Finally after many months, even more reprimands, I am officially a blogger. I have been on many friends blogs and decided that while I sit at the bank doing basically nothing, I may as well start my own. I would love to hear from any other blogging friends. I am hoping to use this to catch up with many long lost friends (and relatives). :-)
